The Slide
I Got a new metal roof a few years back. Water was just pouring down the inside walls of my house when the ice would melt to some degree. Now, again when it gets warmer, I can hear these sudden crashes as ice and snow cascade down my new slide. Makes me wonder why I waited so long.

I wasn't really looking for a sign, but now I have one.
You have no idea how happy to see you've been blogging consistently, buck! All these great entries...I knew you were occasionally on here, but am going to go and savor all these ridiculously wonderful entries. As soon as I remember my password, anyway. I can't even leave a comment without that, apparently, so we'll see you soon. Or perhaps not.
Yes Colleen, I think I have a more complete combination now. Before, when I would post music and return later to discover the black hole that signified its disappearance, it would be very discouraging. Pictures, on the other hand, have that staying quality that we have learned to love. They can be posted without any comment necessary and still be complete.
New Years Day Jan downloaded a program called photo 365 or something of the sort. Simple concept drove the software. Record a picture every day of the year and document your life! Those years that you spent recording bio rhythms and other information are really cool. The difficult part would be the necessary discipline to keep it up. Like a resolution of sorts you might say.
So, are we setting a blogging goal? Just perhaps to be more consistent, which in my case would be easy enough since it's been a few years. The funny thing, I was searching for hotels in Tuscany, when another sign hit me in the face: my blog used to be called One Way Ticket to Tuscany. Granted, it's shortened now, and I plan on coming back, but what foresight I must've (accidentally) had in 2005!
