Immortalitas

Aftermath Bat Cave '65. MP, Wm T., and I discussed songs that will last forever. Wm T. hazards not a guess, but in fact, could be egging Mike and I on as he always said, "Just looking for a little information."
Est autem fides credere quod nondum vides: cuius fedei merces est videre quod credis ("Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe." ) St. Augustine

May you always have walls for the winds,
a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,
laughter to cheer you, those you love near you,
and all your heart might desire.

May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow.
May the soft winds freshen your spirit.
May the sunshine brighten your heart
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you.
And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.

Borrowed from Fr. Brennan

Somehow it's different seeing my soul cat Summer posted over here...immortal, indeed. She couldn't have picked a better song, either.

Interesting that when I read about the Irish, there is a lot of bitter suffering involved, but this is such a sweet blessing...

CQ Summer is a very sophisticated feline.

Anon: True, I do believe they do have their feet on the ground.
