Resurfaced

I finally found the source. "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." Pierre Teihard de Chardin.

A great quote. Plan to go online and find out about his life. Guess some spirits jump into the human experience and others are timid about it.

Carol: He is the most fantastic writer I have ever read.
I'm reading his The Phenomenon of Man again. I read it in the 70's, but sometimes I have to re-read whole paragraphs because he says so much. He is extremely positive. He was a paleontologist in China digging up bones in 1910 and one of his ideas is the the whole planet is going to be conscious of itself and everything on it. When you think of twitter, cell phone, etc., it is already happening. The Catholic Church wouldn't let him publish some of his works during his lifetime. First he is a scientist.
I think you're right, there are both bold and shy spirits when it comes to jumping into this life.

I forgot to add that he was also a Jesuit, but considered himself a scientist first, if there ever was a conflict.
